ENTERTAINMENT  PROGRAMS

  • Treva Jaffe - Beautiful Jazz Music
    • Every Thursday 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
  • Music at Lunch - weekdays 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
    • Reservations needed for lunch, but not to just enjoy the music!
  • Dancing - Music provided by the Rhythm Tones on the 3rd Saturdays; Bill Morse & Co all other Saturdays.  Music includes tunes from the 1930s and 40s, mixed in with a little country.   Refreshments provided.  Cost is $3 per person for members, $5 per person for guests.  Public welcome.
    • 1st & 3rd Saturdays - 8 - 10:30 pm - January through March
    • Every Saturday - 8 -10:30 pm - April through December
  • Art Gibson Dulcimers - Good old country music on the dulcimers
    • First and third Fridays 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
  • Special Events - Special parties on holidays

  • USO Dinner Dance - Veterans Day Dinner Dance and recognition for those who served in the military
    • Friday night before Veterans Day - held at the Elks Club
  • Luau - Food, Music and Traditional Fare
    • Summertime
  • Valentine Tea Dance - Prominent gentlemen in the Traverse City region come and dance with the ladies; or, bring your own partner
    • Held every year around Valentines Day
  • The Last Summer Supper - Sponsored by Reynolds Jonkhoff - a FREE complete dinner followed by a brief presentation on their services
    • Held every year late Summer or early Fall
  • Birthday Bash
    • Birthday Persons receive 
      • A coupon for free ice cream at Culvers
      • A ticket for the drawing of a prize
    • Reservations required (call 947-5285); suggested donation for lunch
    • Second Friday monthly at Noon
  • Turkey Dinner for Seniors - at Westwoods Elementary
    • Generally, on third Thursday in November at 6:00 pm; no charge
    • Bus transportation from the Senior Center leaves at 5:00 pm - provided by the school
    • Meal prepared and served by students of the school
    • Reservations required; limited to the first 100 people

    • Generally, on first Tuesday of December; no charge
    • Students sing, dance, play instruments, provide homemade treats!
