Membership
is based on a calendar year, and members are asked to renew their
membership each January. To renew your membership, please
visit
our Business Office, in the Senior Center.
Membership Dues:
As a result of the successful millage election in 2010, there no longer
are membership fees for adults 60 and older who live in Grand Traverse
County. Membership applications are still required to be
filed, and members should renew annually in January to be kept on our
mailing lists. Adults residing in Grand Traverse County who
are under 60 are asked to pay $10 per year. Residents who
live outside of Grand Traverse County currently are asked to pay annual
dues of $50.
Membership Fund
No
senior will be denied access solely based on inability to
pay membership dues. Scholarships are available for anyone
requesting that membership dues be waived because of financial
hardship. We will gladly accept your donation to this fund to
support those who cannot make a contribution.
Confidentiality
Members' addresses and
phone numbers are not given out, and are kept confidential.
