Membership in the Traverse City Senior Center

Membership is
required for participating in most programs. Senior Center
membership is not
required for the Noon Meal program or the Travel
Alliance program; however, the Travel Alliance program has a $10.00
per year fee. See our Travel

Membership Benefits:

Membership
is based on a calendar year, and members are asked to renew their
membership each January. To renew your membership, please
visit
our Business Office, in the Senior Center.
Membership Dues:
Membership
dues are $15.00 each year for ALL of our volunteers; and for residents from municipalities that
support our programs (Traverse City; and Acme, Blair, East Bay,
Elmwood, Garfield, Long Lake, and Peninsula Townships). For
residents of other municipalities, the membership rate is $35.00
annually.
Lifetime
memberships are also available at the following rates:
- Age 80+ = $200.00
- Age 70-79 = $300.00
- Age 60-69 = $400.00
- Age 50-59 = $500.00
Membership Fund
No
senior will be denied access solely based on inability to
pay membership dues. Scholarships are available for anyone
requesting that membership dues be waived because of financial
hardship. We will gladly accept your donation to this fund to
support those who cannot make a contribution.
Confidentiality
Members' addresses and
phone numbers are not given out, and are kept confidential.
