Our Mission

The Mission of the Traverse City Center is meet the social, recreational and educational needs of adult members in an environment that is fun, safe, inclusive and courteous for all participants and guests.

Traverse City's Senior Center is situated on beautiful City Park land along the beaches of Grand Traverse Bay with more than 3000 members, starting age is 50 years old.  The Senior Center building is open Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and hosts more than 70 different programs, classes, and activities monthly.  Check out the Program pages listed above or call 922-4911 or stop in for a program schedule.
